Here at Duchally Country Estate we are committed to providing a good quality service whilst minimising the environmental impact of our activities.

A symbol of this commitment is our membership of the Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS), which is a leading sustainable tourism certification scheme that operates in the UK, having over 1400 members. Green Tourism is sustainable tourism – tourism that takes into account the needs of the environment, local residents, other businesses and visitors.

Businesses opting to join GTBS are assessed by a qualified grading advisor against a rigorous set of criteria, covering a range of areas, like energy and water efficiency, waste management, biodiversity and more. The scheme provides accreditation and encouragement for tourism businesses to reduce the environmental impact of their activities. By encouraging sustainable practices the scheme ensures the continued enjoyment of the environment around us for future generations.

Duchally Country Estate has attained the Gold award for environmental friendliness from the GTBS, which highlights their continued commitment to Green Tourism.
