CLC Duchally Country Estate hotel has reaffirmed its VisitScotland 4-star status following an inspector’s visit, achieving five star ‘exceptional’ in the key areas of cleanliness and hospitality.

The resort, which holds five-star status for its luxury self-catering lodges, scored well in the four star hotel category achieving 11% over the requirement of at least 70% overall.

Four star standard is recognised as ‘excellent’ and resort manager Graeme MacDonald said: “Well done to all my team, it is a matter of pride to us. I am happy that the changes that have made in the last year have been recognised and there will be further improvements going forward.”

The VisitScotland inspector described CLC Duchally Country Estate as “A popular hotel offering a high standard of accommodation, where you are assured of a warm welcome.” He concluded. “I am pleased to confirm that CLC Duchally Country Estate scores well within the four star band.”
