The inspector has called… and manager Graeme MacDonald is pleased to say CLC Duchally Country Estate’s four-star status as a country house hotel stays as a result.

Each year the Visit Scotland™ assessor marks all areas of operation and delivers their verdict. The resort holds the same body’s five star status for its luxury lodges, but is proud that the distinguished hotel scores particularly well in the four star category with ratings for cleanliness (92%), hospitality and friendliness, restaurant and dining, service and efficiency and exterior appearance all 80% or above.

Four stars equates to a level labeled ‘excellent’ and Graeme congratulated his team for maintaining this and will look at additional ways to ensure marks stay consistently high, or even higher, for next year.

“We are anticipating a good summer during which our new Glenfiddich Terrace will be creating more space outdoors for people to enjoy our new summer menu,” he said.
